Body 4 life!!!

Have you ever seen that commercial where the lady is on the couch talking about how her husband stopped drinking soda and lost 15 pounds and she lost 5, and how every one even the dog lost weight and she didn't? well ladies..I am her! I don't think i have told you that 6 weeks ago Corey and I started the body for life program (if you don't know what it is go to bodyforlife.com) anyway, it is a very hard program. wieght lifting, and cardio 6 days a week plus a VERY strict diet. So tell me why I lost 5 pounds gained it back, and lost it again and there it stays. Corey has lost 15 pounds already and is looking fabulous. I feel like the muscle is building under the fat and I am getting FATTER!!! is that possible? the funny thing is that when we went to Utah, I did not work out and ate terrible for 4 days and LOST 3 pounds. I came back and started to work out again and gained it back..
what the hallabalou? rrrrrrrrr! I am so frustrated. WEll on the program he says that women do not usually see results until after the 7th week so I am hangin in there because I desperately need to loose some poundage. I am sore tired and really want some buttered popcorn....so this better work. Plus we are in a competition with our friends and I do not want to loose! I know this is hard to beleive, but when corey and I got married I weighed 112 pounds!!! I know that is way to skinny for me, but seriously somewhere in the middle of where I am now and where I was then would be nice. I want to have another baby, but really need to loose the weight first. sorry this is so random, but I am frusterated!!!!!

Anyone want a protein shake?.....bottoms up!

I feel your pain! After each baby it feels harder to lose the weight. I am going to get my hormones balanced naturally, hopefully it will allow my body to let go of my fatness its apperently holding onto for the winter.I'll let you know how it goes

Muscle weighs more than fat. And takes up space. I bet it's making a difference. I don't like situps because it makes the waist of my pants tighter! I don't know about the specifics of your diet, but if you're feeling better about your fitness and lifestyle overall, then don't even pay attention to "weight"! Way to go with staying on the program! I bet it's helpful to do it along with Corey.

Why is it so easy to gain weight but so hard to lose it. Really it should be the other way around. And why does it take us women longer to lose weight the men. That is hardly fair.
My weight is a constant struggle, I gain poundage just by looking at food and rarely get the opportunity to exercise. I have been on a diet for 4 weeks and have lost 6.8 pound all up but some how gained 1.5 pound one week when I did nothing different and pretty much starved myself. I was so annoyed as I am sure I could have snuck in some butter popcorn that week and then at least the gain would have been worth it.

I admire you for working out six times a week, keep it up hopefully the results will show soon.

I HATE how quickly men lose weight. NOT FAIR! I did BFL and made it 11 weeks, but I was too self destructive to finish. It totally worked while I did it.. I went from a 16 to and 8 in 11 weeks. But it kicked my freaking butt so hard I can't ever do it again.
Anyway, I totally agree with Jyl, what in the heck are you trying to lose weight for??? You look awesome!
