What is wrong with me? I felt like I hit a time warp or something. This year I want it to be different. There will be a lot of journaling here. My thoughts and feelings. Happenings and lots of my babies. They are just so adorable and growing soooo fast. I want to hold on to them like this forever. I know it's not going to happen so I need to make sure that I record it!
Christmas was amazing! We had a nice day, it was relaxing and fun! I know the kids were very happy with the gifts that they got.
This year I had the kids make gifts for each other which means they really had to think about it and work to make it. Ethan made some key chains and paper airplane for his brother. Halli made me a Nativity out of beads and sticks. It actually turned out really cute! She also made Corey a picture collage to go on his badge for work of the kids. The decorations are already coming down, I can hardly stand to have them crowding me out of this tiny apt. for much longer!
I also realized I was having such a good time with the kids opening their gifts that I did not actually take any pictures~~~ !!! what !!! I know! seriously! I did take some video though and I know I can do still capture on that and use some for pics. SHeesh, am I a photographer or what?
Christmas cards got put in the mail and then sent back to me cause I had on the wrong postage....so they are still not out! Whatever. They will be happy new year cards.
I feel some huge changes coming this year and goals being met like... This year we will have accomplished since our move to the apt. $30,000 of debt paid off!! and $15,000 + saved for a down on a house that we will be looking for starting in the spring! I know, it's amazing and has been totally worth it! Thinking about adding to our family....or not....it is so up in the air!
Corey is thinking about finishing his Bachelor deg. So like I said lots of exciting things ahead for us!!! This past year was so much fun! We were able to take many fun trips and spend the greatest time with our kids. I just ADORE them to pieces.
Tomorrow is new years eve and I have resolved to NOT make a resolution list. I am always trying to do better all year long and my daily lists are enough to drive anyone crazy!! So I am not going to do it. So there.
