Our summer 2010

I know I said I was going private, but I just have not done it yet. I wanted to take some time and just write down a few of the things we did this summer, before I forget to blog about them or they slip in to the insanity that is the deep recesses of my brain!!

Summer 2010

Lake tahoe weekend. ~ Aunt Kristens wedding

Sanfransisco and Monterey for 5 days ~ with Aunt Krissy and our friends the Christophersons

We got season passes to six flags and went a bunch of times.. got splashed by shouka and love the baby dolphins

Cousin Jeremys wedding, and a trip to San Diego to see Aunt Kaleena (lost our dog while we were there. but found him :))

went boating with the Burtons a few times and decided to adopt them as our grandparents!

Lake Tahoe, sand Harbor ~ Where Steve fell cliff diving and cut his leg to the bone...ER visit and 8 stitches on the way home.

Yosemite for 4 days... Dalebout family reunion!! Beautiful and full of fun!

Our summer was such a blast. I have so many pictures to post and so much to talk about. My goal is to try and blog at least once a week and catch up a little as well as keep up on writing.

Brodey is turning 3 in a couple of weeks. He is so excited and want a batman party. I will be doing a photo shoot with him soon and will tell you all about his huge adorable personality!!!

We are still in the apartment and just signed another 12 month contract. It almost killed us but we did it. We are all learning how to be more organized and love each other, even when we can not escape their torment( specifically Halli and Ethan)!!! We have one more small credit card and we are officially out of debt and it will be time to start saving for that house!

Corey is in Scouts for the 11 year olds. They Adore him. They call him Brother Awesome and just bought him a shirt that said " hello, my name is awesome!" LOL, I was teaching relief society and just got called to be the 2nd counselor in the young women's presidency. It is very busy, but I am really liking it.

Steve is still living with us, but looking to move out soon, he is a social dynamite! He is doing great with his job at kaiser and just started his second semester at Sierra College, and is serving as ward mission leader for the singles ward. We are so proud of him.

I got really sick again in April with my Fybromialgia. If you did not know, this is something I have been battling with for 10 years. I got on some medication to help with the pain and the sleeping. It is helping, but I decided to make some changes in my life. Mainly going to bed on time ( which has contributed to the lack of blogging.) I also slowed down on the photography and decided to take only 1 session a week so I can focus on my health and the kids. I do it for fun mainly, so I should enjoy it! and cutting back allows me too.

Halli is loving her teacher this year. She is still doing Violin and Piano, although I need to find a new piano teacher still. She is playing soccer again this year and she adores her team.. :) Corey is assistant coaching her team and she is absolutely loving it.

All Ethan can talk about is how long until he can snowboard again. Corey got season passes to north star this winter and he can not wait. He really learned how to skateboard this summer. Right now he is not doing any sports as he informed me that he wants to take the year off from sports since he has done them every year since he was 4. But he asked to do some golf lessons and you know I jumped on that.

Brodey got poddy trained this summer and just started preschool 2 times a week. I am pretty sure he is our last baby and it is killing me how fast he is growing up! His imagination is huge and each day he is something new. Batman, Thomas the train, buzz light year etc. He is so stinkin' cute!!! I can hardly stand it.

O.k. so there it is, short, sweet, and informative ~
