Recess rocks
Ethans 3rd grade class with mrs. Sunde made a video and submitted it to recess rocks! It is a program that tries to encourage kids to get out and play and be fit. The competition is for the whole united states. Well they won 3rd place!! So cool. They had an assembly and a woman came from new York and presented them with a $500 check for their school! The news and newspaper were there. The kids were so proud!!

That's so exciting! I bet they feel so cool. And that's a neat contest to have. Congrats!
I do have to ask myself... wouldn't it have been better if the lady had stayed in New York and applied her flight fare to the school instead? =o) I've heard those big checks are expensive to draft too. Haha, I know, I'm a jerk. $500 is still great.
