We have lived here for 3 years and finally took the kids to San Fransisco! It was a blast. We met Coreys brother Chad and his family from Vegas there and Saw EVERYTHING! We started with a boat ride to Alcatraz where we took a tour through the jail. It was such an interesting tour! I highly recomend it! very cool, we lost Ethan for about 10 minutes while we were there. A trip would not be complete without loosing him atleast once!!. Then we ate lunch on Peir 39 at Bubba Gumps overlooking the bay. After that we took a drive to the windiest road on Lumbar street. We Drove over the golden Gate bridge and went to Stinson beach where there are great white shark advisories!! We found two whole sand dollars and saw a whale ( I for sure saw one while we were at Alcatraz. and the kids were on the look out and we are pretty sure they saw one too)
After that we went to the Ghiradeli chocolate square and ate samples. Then to a eat clam chowder out of sour dough bread bowls. We fed a few homeless people, Got scared by the bush man ( a guy who hide behind hand held bushes and scares people for tips) Saw the tin man and breakdancers...all sorts of weird people!! It was a long fun filled day! we saw everything and are glad we wont need to go back for a while. (unless any of our friends want to come out and visit!!!)

How fun. SF is definitely full of things to do. I'm glad you had a blast.
Looks like you guys had a great time! I cant believe that I have lived here my whole life and cant ever remember going to alcatraz. gotta add it to my "must do" list. Thanks for inviting us on Saturday. We had a great time meeting all of your family.
What a fun day!!! Bob has lived in Cali almost his whole life and hasn't been to Alcatraz. We'll definitely have to make the trip soon. I love that picture of Brodey -- he's looking like a little boy now! =)
Wow, busy day! I haven't been to SF before but I recognized several of those places from books. You must be a good tour guide! Your family is all so cute.
Wow you did do it all..we went and did all that for my parents anniversary about 6 years ago it was a blast! and yes sat and watched the BUSH man..loved it. Looks like you guys had a real fun time.
That sounds so fun. I have never been to Frisco. I love going through big cities and seeing all the interesting people. I can't believe you lost Ethan for 10 minutes, I would have had a heart attack. Your boy is SO CUTE! How cool to see a whale, but even though that is cool, this is why I DO NOT swim in the ocean. It is a firm policy! NEVER! But I LOVE the beach to look for shells.

That is so fun!! I bet they loved san Fran. There are a ton of fun things to do there and it looks like you got to do most of them. I bet your kids were scared from the silver- painted men. They freak me out too. :)
